Il Corsetto PASB
E' un nuovo corsetto ortopedico per la cura della scoliosi della colonna, ideato dal Prof Lorenzo Aulisa nel 1976 che ha la particolarità di essere modellato in modo da lasciare liberi quei movimenti del tronco che agiscono in modo correttivo sulla colonna questo ha suscitato negli ultimi anni un notevole interesse fra gli specialisti
per i vantaggi che offre rispetto a quelli tradizionali.
Il "P.A.S.B." (progressive action short brace,
in italiano: corsetto corto ad azione progressiva), e'
adatto per il trattamento delle scoliosi "basse"
(quelle che interessano le vertebre dorso-lombari o
lombari) ed e' costruito con una geometria
asimmetrica tale da consentire ogni movimento del
tronco che sia utile alla correzione della curva, ostacolando tutti gli altri".
Questo corsetto, in pratica, corregge la curva non soltanto sfruttando le forze esterne (proprie del corsetto), ma anche quelle interne, prodotte dai movimenti consentiti.

Il Corsetto Lionese
The Lyon Bracing Management has evolved since 1947 as a cooperative effort between Pierre Stagnara MD
(Figure 1) and Bouillat & Terrier CPO. The Lyon management protocol requires curve reduction with a
plaster cast for one to four months, after which the brace is moulded and fit. The brace is a highly adjustable
under the arm design and does not have a superstructure.
Il Corsetto Milwaukee
The Milwaukee Brace or CTLSO (cervico-thoraco-lumbo-sacral orthosis) is the first modem day
brace used to treat spinal deformities. It was developed by Blount and Schmidt for the post-operative
treatment of post-polio scoliosis, and was found to be effective in the non-operative treatment of idiopathic
scoliosis.
Il Corsetto Sforzesco
The Sforzesco brace was developed as a breakthrough involving in the autumn of 2004. The authors were searching for a way to avoid casting for our worst patients, because of the significant costs involved both at the individual (side effects including cast syndrome, skin problems, significant psychological impact, inability to shower for months, etc.) and social (repeated inpatient treatments) levels.
Il Corsetto Cheneau
Dr. Chêneau, inspired by Abbot, fabricated the original Chêneau Brace in 1979. The Chêneau brace is commonly used for the treatment of scoliosis and thoracic hypokyphosis in many European countries such as Spain, France, and Germany as well as other countries like Israel and Russia.
